1. Introduction

Threadry ("we", "us", "our") is committed to handling personal information with care and transparency. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are in relation to it.

This policy applies to personal data collected through our website at threadry.sbs, through our enquiry forms, and in connection with bookings for Threadry workshops and planning resources. Our services are general education and information in nature; we do not provide personal advice in regulated fields.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is 274 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact details — name, email address, and phone number when you submit an enquiry form.
  • Booking information — session selection and any notes you provide at the point of booking.
  • Usage data — anonymised information about how our website is used, collected via analytics cookies where consent is given.
  • Correspondence — the content of emails or messages you send to us.

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payment is handled separately and confirmed at booking.

Legal basis for processing: Enquiry and booking data is processed on the basis of contractual necessity and legitimate interest (responding to your request). Analytics data is processed on the basis of consent. We do not process special categories of personal data.

Retention: Enquiry records are retained for up to two years. Booking records are retained for up to seven years for accounting purposes under Thai law. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries and manage session bookings.
  • To send booking confirmations and any pre-session information.
  • To follow up after sessions with relevant resource information, where relevant.
  • To improve our website and session content based on anonymised feedback and usage data.
  • To comply with applicable Thai law and regulatory requirements.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We may share data with service providers who assist us in operating our website or managing bookings (e.g. email service providers). These providers are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

4. Data Protection Measures

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This includes:

  • HTTPS encryption for all website data in transit.
  • Access to participant records restricted to staff who need it to respond to your enquiry or manage your booking.
  • Regular review of data storage and access practices.

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify relevant parties as required by applicable law.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site and, where consent is given, to support analytics functionality. Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled.

For full details of the cookies we use and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Thai data protection law (the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562) and in line with internationally recognised data subject rights, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) in Thailand.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services and website are directed at adults (18 years and over). We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that data has been submitted by someone under 18 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website. The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of our website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
