Built around the idea that practical matters
Threadry started in Bangkok in 2019, when a small group of people working in family education noticed something: the families who came to them for support weren't always looking for emotional intervention. Many just needed a shared calendar that both households would actually use, or a simple structure for the Sunday family meeting that kept derailing.
That observation became the foundation of Threadry. We focus on the logistical and organisational side of family life — the part that doesn't get much attention but causes a surprising amount of friction. Our workshops and toolkits give families concrete materials to work with, not prescriptions about how they should live.
Today, we work with families across Bangkok and across Thailand — expat households, blended families, co-parenting arrangements, multigenerational homes. What they share is a desire for a little more order in the everyday, and a preference for doing things in their own way.

The People Behind Threadry
A small team with a shared focus
Saowalak Rojanakit
Founder & Workshop Lead
Saowalak developed Threadry's core workshop model after years of running family coordination programmes in community settings across Bangkok. She has a background in adult education and a quiet insistence on keeping things practical.
Marcus Brandt
Resource Design & Content
Marcus designs the planning templates and toolkit materials that families take home. His background is in information design, and his goal is always the same: something clear enough to use without instructions.
Nanthida Phromchan
Participant Support & Enquiries
Nanthida manages incoming enquiries and follows up with families after sessions to make sure the materials landed well. She keeps the experience at Threadry as unhurried and human as possible.

General information only
Everything we offer is educational and informational in nature. We do not provide personal, regulated or professional advice on individual situations.
Participant confidentiality
What is shared in our sessions remains in the room. We do not share participant details or workshop content with third parties.
Non-directive design
Our tools present options and frameworks — not instructions. Families choose what applies to their household and leave the rest.
Plain language throughout
Workshop materials are written to be read easily, not to impress. We avoid jargon and explain any terms we do use.
Regular material reviews
We review and update our toolkits and workshop content at least twice yearly to keep them current, useful and relevant to families in Thailand.
Data handled with care
Personal data collected through enquiry forms is used only to respond to enquiries and manage bookings. We follow applicable data protection standards.
Family coordination resources in Bangkok
Threadry works with families across Bangkok and the wider Bangkok metropolitan area who are looking for clearer ways to manage shared schedules, household handovers, and regular family discussions. Our sessions are held at our Bang Rak location, and our planning materials can be used at home, at any pace.
We serve blended households, co-parenting arrangements, and any family structure that has found ordinary coordination more difficult than it needs to be. Expat families in Bangkok — particularly those managing cross-household logistics in a country where English-language family resources are limited — have found our workshops particularly useful.
Our three core offerings cover the most common coordination challenges: shared household routines, two-home planning logistics, and structured family conversations. Each is designed to stand alone, so families can start with the area where they feel most friction.
Threadry does not provide counselling, personal advice, or direction on how families should make decisions. Our role is to share useful structures and leave the rest to the people who know their family best.
